Local beach only a 15-20 min walk  or 2 min drive away which has a beach front carpark for £5 per day. There is also a lovely café and toilets. 

Widemouth Bay

Another Local beach only a 30 min walk away which also has a carpark. Widemouth Bay offers fantastic conditions to learn surfing or body-boarding, which is why many of the local surf schools are based there

Crackington Haven

Superb day out in Cornwall- ideal for families, swmming, walking and rambling, with excellent facilities, good beach (pebbles, with sand along the inter-tidal zone,) parking, public toilets, 

shops, cafes, pub and restaurant, stunning scenery and breathtaking views.

Bude Town Centre

A gorgeous seaside town where you can grab a cornish pastie or two and Walk down to summerleaze beach.  There is also a canal to walk down too.

Bude also boasts an  amazing outdoor sea pool, and many costal walks and things to see and explore.

Port Isaac

 definitely worth visiting. It is a small fishing village located on the north coast of Cornwall, known for its narrow, cobbled streets, its historic harbour, and is the setting for TV’s Doc Martin as well as being home to the shanty singing group, Fisherman’s Friends. In addition to its scenic beauty, Port Isaac is also home to several excellent restaurants and pubs, serving fresh seafood and local produce.

Tintagel castle

A great day out only a 20-30 minute drive away, a lovely little town home to the round table knight king Arthur over a amazing bridge with amazing views, which is part of the English heritage group.

Boscastle

A great day out only a 30 -40 minute drive away, a lovely little town with a little harbour Cafes, Restaurant's  & gift shops with amazing walks with beautiful views of the rocky Cornish coast

St Nectans Glen Waterfall

Saint Nectan's Glen is an area of woodland in Trethevy near Tintagel, north Cornwall stretching for around one mile along both banks of the Trevillet River. The glen's most prominent feature is St Nectan's Kieve, a spectacular sixty foot waterfall through a hole in the rock. small car park opposite

Tamar lake

Tamar lake, water-sports centre where you can hire  kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, sailing and windsurfing equipment and launch your own paddle board for a small fee. This has a lovely walk surrounding the lake.
